Why Redwood?
Redwood trees are among some of the most majestic trees. They grow to be over 300 feet tall and can live thousands of years and their wood has special properties that make it resistant to mold, insects, and rot.
Despite growing so tall, they have relatively shallow roots – around 6 to 12 feet deep. This root system could not hold up the tree by itself if it were not for a unique interaction between the trees. Redwoods get their stability and strength from growing up together with other redwoods in groves, and then intertwining their roots. In essence, they hold onto each other, and this enables them to grow incredibly tall, strong, and live long lives. This symbolizes what we do at Redwood Family Therapy. We help families and couples hold on to each other, and metaphorically link arms with individuals to help strengthen them through the storms.

Your needs are what matter, not the needs of an insurance provider which typically dictate what treatment will be covered, what they think is the best treatment, and even require a diagnosis that could stick with you for the rest of your life. Our only requirement is to do what is best for you. And while our therapy services are already affordable, especially considering the value and quality of what you receive, we have many ways to help make it even more affordable.
Third, the overall experience. We have confidential offices with comfortable furniture conveniently located in Utah County. We also have caring and professional front desk staff to answer the phones, welcome you in, remind you of your appointments, and they are available even when your therapist is in session.
Lastly, remember that even if you can’t find the perfect fit with one of our therapists, we will help you find the best fit outside of Redwood Family Therapy. We know that since people’s needs are so varied and unique that on occasion you will not find exactly what you need with our therapists, so we will help you through a referral or even a search online to find that perfect match.
