Most people I meet aren’t looking for a label for what they’re going through. They’re tired, stretched thin, and carrying something they haven’t been able to set down on their own. Maybe it’s worry that won’t quiet down at night, the weight of an old hurt, a relationship that has slowly grown distant, or a season of change that’s left you unsure who you are anymore. Wherever you’re starting from, you don’t have to sort it out by yourself.
I work mostly with adults, and often with women moving through anxiety, trauma, OCD, grief, ADHD, big life transitions, and questions of faith. My style is warm and down to earth. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you, notice the strengths you already have, and build practical tools you can actually use between our sessions. I lean on approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, the Gottman Method, and ART — but the method always matters less than whether you feel heard.
Reaching out is often the hardest part, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. If you’re looking for a steady, judgment-free place to feel understood and start moving forward, I’d be glad to walk alongside you.
What working together looks like
Our first session is mostly about getting to know each other — what brought you in, what you’re hoping will feel different, and what’s weighing on you most right now. There’s no pressure to open up about everything before you’re ready; we go at your pace.
You don’t need to be in crisis to come in, and you don’t need to arrive with it all figured out. From there, we’ll build a plan that fits your life, and practical tools you can actually use between sessions.

Questions people ask before reaching out
Do you take insurance?
Redwood is a private-pay practice, so I don’t bill insurance. That keeps you free to choose the therapist who’s the right fit, means no diagnosis is required just for coverage, and keeps the cost transparent and known up front. I’m happy to walk through session fees before we begin.
Do you offer virtual sessions, and where are you licensed?
Yes — I see clients in person in Saratoga Springs and virtually across Utah, so we can meet in whatever way fits your week. I’m licensed in Utah, so virtual sessions are for clients located in Utah.
Who do you work with?
I work mostly with adults, and often with women moving through anxiety, trauma, OCD, grief, ADHD, life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum, and questions of faith. I also see couples, and I have experience supporting people with eating disorders. If someone needs a higher level of care than outpatient therapy can offer, I’ll help them find the right referral.
What happens in a first session?
Mostly getting to know you — what brought you in and what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to, and you don’t need to be in crisis to come in.
