Iesha earned her bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University and her master's and doctoral degrees from Brigham Young University. While working on her graduate education, Iesha was trained in treating sexual addiction, betrayal trauma, and sex therapy. Dr. Gibbons has specialized training in Systematic Affair Recovery Therapy (SART, Level 1) to help couples overcome affairs. She has also taught and lectured on racial and ethnic struggles, and taught adolescents and their parents about mental and emotional health.
As a biracial individual who grew up in a military family, Iesha understands how important our experiences and relationships are in shaping who we become, the challenges we face, and the resources we have to heal. She strives to help clients make the changes they want to see in their lives. In her free time, Iesha enjoys spending time with her husband, beautiful son, and loveable cat. She enjoys action movies, nail art, and traveling to the beach.
