Couples Communication and Conflict Resolution Course
Join Dr. Iesha Gibbons, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, for a 6-8 week therapy group designed to enhance couples' communication and conflict resolution skills. This course will help couples learn effective techniques for active listening, expressing needs, and resolving conflicts in a healthy manner. Through interactive sessions, participants will identify and overcome communication barriers, build emotional intimacy, and practice advanced skills for maintaining a strong relationship. By the end of the course, couples will have the tools to improve their connection and navigate challenges with greater ease.
Postpartum Depression and Anxiety Support Group
Sarah Rawlings, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, will lead a support group designed for women struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, and other maternal mental health issues. This group provides a compassionate and understanding environment where mothers can share their experiences and feelings openly. Through guided discussions and supportive activities, participants will explore coping strategies, self-care techniques, and practical solutions to manage their mental health.
The group aims to reduce feelings of isolation by connecting women who are facing similar challenges, fostering a sense of community and support. Sarah will provide expert guidance and resources to help mothers navigate the complexities of postpartum mental health, promoting healing and well-being. By the end of the group, participants will feel more empowered and equipped to handle the demands of motherhood with greater confidence and resilience.
Co-Parenting Therapy Group
Melinda Caldwell, a specialist in child and adolescent therapy, will lead a therapy group dedicated to helping individuals navigate co-parenting after divorce. This group focuses on providing parents with the skills and strategies needed to create a stable and positive environment for their children. Participants will learn effective communication techniques, conflict resolution skills, and collaborative decision-making practices essential for successful co-parenting.
Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, parents will gain insights into the emotional needs of their children and how to support their well-being during and after the transition. The group aims to foster a cooperative co-parenting relationship, ultimately ensuring that children feel secure, supported, and understood despite the challenges of having divorced parents.
Empower and Heal: Partners Facing Pornography Issues
Dr. Julia Jones will lead a specialized therapy group designed for spouses dealing with the challenges of their partner's pornography-related issues. This group aims to provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can share their experiences and feelings. Through guided discussions and therapeutic exercises, individuals will develop effective coping skills and strategies to manage the emotional and relational impacts of their spouse's pornography use.
Over the course of the group, participants will explore various topics including understanding the effects of pornography on relationships, setting healthy boundaries, and fostering self-care. Dr. Jones will provide insights and tools to help individuals process their emotions, rebuild trust, and enhance communication within their relationship. By the end of the group, participants will feel more empowered and equipped to navigate these complex challenges.
