Anxiety is exhausting. It’s the mind that won’t quiet down at midnight and the racing heart over something small. If any of this sounds familiar, it’s worth talking to someone:
Anxiety responds well to treatment. That’s the good news here. Schedule a consultation
If you’re having panic attacks: panic attacks are frightening, and they’re one of the most treatable things we see. If you’ve been to the ER convinced it was your heart, or you’ve started avoiding places in case it happens again, that’s worth bringing in. And if anxiety ever turns into thoughts of hurting yourself, call or text 988 any time to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Anxiety looks different in a seventh grader, a new mom, and a dad who hasn’t slept properly in a year. Your therapist starts with what your week actually looks like, then draws on the approaches that fit you, which may include CBT, body-based calming skills, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and EMDR when the worry traces back to something specific you lived through. The method follows your needs, not the other way around.
Not a label or a worksheet. The school mornings, the meetings, the 2am spiral.
Practical ways to settle your body and interrupt the spiral, starting from the first sessions.
Anxiety shrinks what you’re willing to do. The work is widening it again, at a pace you set.
No single method is right for everyone. These are a few of the research-based approaches your therapist may use, chosen to fit you and always at a pace you control.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
The most researched treatment for anxiety. It helps you catch the thought patterns that feed worry, and then, gradually and on your terms, take back the things anxiety has talked you out of.
Never all at once, and never without your say-so. Facing things gradually is part of what makes anxiety treatment work, and you decide each step.
Often, yes. Small, doable practices between sessions are part of what makes CBT effective, and your therapist tailors them to you.
Body-Based Calming Skills
Anxiety isn’t only in your head. It’s a tight chest, a clenched jaw, a body braced for something. Somatic and mindfulness work gives you practical ways to settle your nervous system, which makes everything else easier to work on.
Breathing is one small piece. Most of it is learning to notice what your body is doing early enough to do something about it.
No. If sitting still makes you more anxious, your therapist will find something that fits you better.
Internal Family Systems
A gentle, parts-based approach that helps you meet the part of you that worries, and the part that’s tired of worrying, with curiosity instead of frustration. Several of our clinicians are IFS-trained.
Parts are the different sides of you, like the one that worries or the one that protects you. IFS helps you understand and care for them rather than fight them.
Yes. IFS works alongside your values, and our clinicians can keep care faith-sensitive.

Warm, evidence-based anxiety therapy in Saratoga Springs and virtually across Utah, for adults, teens, and new moms. You choose your therapist; no insurance required.
It starts with a conversation about what your week actually looks like, not a checklist. From there your therapist tailors the work to you, drawing on approaches like CBT, body-based calming skills, and IFS as they fit, plus practical work on sleep and the situations you’ve been avoiding. There’s no single required method.
Everyone worries. It’s worth looking at when it’s steady rather than occasional, when your body is along for the ride, or when you’ve started shrinking your life to manage it. You don’t have to decide before you call, and the consultation is a good place to sort it out.
Not necessarily, and that’s a decision for you and a medical provider, not us. We don’t prescribe. Many people do well with therapy alone; others find a combination works best. If medication seems worth exploring, your therapist can coordinate with your doctor and refer you to a prescriber.
Anxiety often responds faster than people expect. Many notice real change within a couple of months, especially with practice between sessions, though it depends on how long it’s been going on. Your therapist will give you a realistic picture after the first few visits.
Yes. Several of our clinicians work with teens and young adults, and we can involve parents as much or as little as makes sense. For younger kids who aren’t going to sit and talk about feelings, we also offer play therapy.
Postpartum anxiety is common, and it’s different from postpartum depression: the racing thoughts, the checking, the certainty that something will go wrong. Several of our clinicians specialize in maternal mental health, and virtual sessions make this a lot easier with a newborn at home.
We’re a self-pay practice. That means you choose your own therapist, keep your privacy, and get transparent pricing, with no network restrictions or surprise denials. We’ll go over costs on your consultation.
Yes. We offer secure virtual sessions across Utah, plus in-person care at our Saratoga Springs office. For a lot of people, starting from their own living room is what makes the first appointment possible.
Yes. If your faith is part of how you make sense of life, your therapist can honor that. And if it’s not, that’s welcome here too.
You’ve probably been managing this on your own for a long time. One conversation is all it takes to find out if we’re the right fit, and we’ll reach out within one business day.
